We filled the fresh water tank, said our goodbyes to Dave, and hit the road. This was another driving day.
We took the rural coastal route, with narrow and rough roads. The scenery wasn’t interesting, so we headed for the highway to make up time.
We entered Nova Scotia and pulled into the tourist information centre.
After many kilometres, we headed back to the coastal route 6, and stopped for a light picnic lunch in Wallace at a small roadside memorial.
We continued on route 6 into Pictou, where the old stone buildings climbed from the waterfront up the hillside. We made note of some interesting places to visit in the morning.
We continued into New Glasgow, looking for a laundromat. After washing, drying and folding our laundry, we pulled into the Walmart parking lot after a long day and boondocked for the night. Today was a repositioning day without much site seeing.
